Our Mission

The Wave Function Project provides interactive summer programming for children and youth with severe cognitive disabilities in North Carolina's Outer Banks region. Through physical activity, creative outlets, and authentic community experiences, we build the functional skills and social understanding that unlock real participation in the world. We believe that every child carries within them immeasurable potential— and that our role is simply to make it visible.
